The diverse international membership of the iia includes leading suppliers of isotopic and machine-based radiation equipment, multinational healthcare companies, dosimetry producers and more than 90 percent of the world's contract irradiation service providers. The association's honorary members include all IMRP laureate award winners-the highest honor bestowed in recognition of those who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of radiation processing.
Constantly building capacity
Every year, the membership of the iia grows, extending our global reach and expanding the forum we provide for industry and governments to work together in addressing issues of vital importance-sponsoring, for example, a series of workshops on the increase in complex, radiation-sensitive, combination drug-device healthcare approaches; and advising the US National Academy of Sciences (NAS) committee on the importance of cobalt-60.
