An ambitious agenda
The IMRP Montreal 2011 programme will include three days of presentations and poster papers covering technical, scientific and business topics. Delegates will have the option of taking part in a fourth day of in-depth tutorials and workshops.
Building on the success of IMRP London 2008, the 2011 programme will offer expanded strands with parallel sessions focused on healthcare applications, material enhancements and food irradiation. It will also include a technology sessionn the latest development in commercial electron beam and x-ray accelerators and gamma irradiation facilities. Delegates will have the opportunity to meet with speakers, authors and sales representatives during a special poster session to discuss mutual areas of interest.
A call for submissions
The Programme Committee met on 9-10 November 2009 to begin developing the IMRP 2011 programme. Experts are invited to submit papers on cutting-edge research topics and the business of radiation processing. Authors of scientific papers may submit their manuscripts in full for publication in the Journal of Radiation Physics and Chemistry. Business presentations and posters may be submitted for publication on the iiA website.
