June is a very busy time of year in Montreal
While it is not yet been announced, the F1 Grand Prix may be racing at the street circuit on Montreal’s Ile Notre-Dame, in which case Formula One fans will be occupying hotel rooms throughout the city. There may also be the attraction of Cirque du Soleil under the Grand Chapiteau at Quays of the Old Port of Montreal—not to mention numerous outdoor festivals.
The Hilton Montréal Bonaventure: Where functionality meets elegance
Built for the world’s fair, Expo ’67, the Hilton Montréal Bonaventure is an architectural masterpiece designed by the famed Ray Affleck. The hotel features a newly renovated penthouse, 395 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites, and executive club rooms with unique garden courtyard views and stunning panoramas of the St. Lawrence River, Old Montreal and the city’s vibrant downtown core. The fabulous year-round outdoor rooftop pool offers a tranquil getaway.
A getaway at the heart of the city
Boasting two-and-a-half acres of rooftop gardens—including ponds with ducks and Koi fish—the Hilton Montréal Bonaventure is like a resort in the middle of downtown. Its quiet, reflective atmosphere makes it ideal for making connections and discussing science and the business of radiation processing.
Comprehensive convention facilities
The Hilton Montréal Bonaventure conference centre includes more than 46,000 square feet (4,272 m2) of meeting, banquet and convention facilities. Conveniently, IMRP 2011 will be held entirely on one floor of the hotel, with parallel and plenary sessions held in the comfortable ‘classroom’ setting of the Montréal Ballroom. Seated dining will be offered in the Salons-Fontaine, adjacent to exhibits and poster presentations accessible throughout the duration of the conference.
